Smart Networks Council Leadership

The Smart Networks Council will be led by its own Board of Directors. The initial Board will be appointed shortly by the UTC Executive Committee from volunteers employed by UTC core utility and associate members. This Board will ultimately determine how future Smart Networks Council Boards are selected. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

1. Be a senior manager responsible for (a) the implementation of AMI or distribution automation applications at a utility, (b) the development of AMI/DA products at a technology company, or (c) a state or federal legislative/regulatory representative for either a utility or technology company working on AMI/DA issues.
2. Be able to devote the necessary time to participation in the Smart Networks Council Board of Directors.
3. Be a consensus builder.
4. Be free of conflicting obligations to other organizations.
