Those interested in serving on the SNC Board in the future should meet the following criteria:
- Be a senior manager responsible for (a) the implementation of AMI or distribution automation applications at a utility, (b) the development of AMI/DA products at a technology company, or (c) a state or federal legislative/regulatory representative for either a utility or technology company working on AMI/DA issues.
- Be able to devote the necessary time to participation in the Smart Networks Council Board of Directors.
- Be a consensus builder.
- Be free of conflicting obligations to other organizations.
